So grateful for this work

I've been trying to get this post to you all for about a week, and have several starts on different topics---all of which have been copied into a file called: "Good things to write in a book." So the words won't go to waste. But after a few paragraphs, one thing or another interrupts the flow, and I find myself not getting back to it for hours or even a day or two.

The so-called Interruptions are otherwise welcomed by me: Calls for healing, old friends reconnecting, calls for opportunities to expand my horizons---even a call to apply for an interesting job. I dusted off my resume and applied, and was called for an interview right away. But upon a deeper tuning in, I realized I couldn't do this job and the wonderful work I'd been developing too. So I kindly declined. I was amazed at how clear I felt after that decision. I have my work and I love my work---why divide my efforts now?

So here's my happy work: (see activities page for full schedule and details)

May 24: At the end of this week, my usual Full Moon drum group time has changed to 6:00 PM in order to celebrate community: added potluck and dance to the happy drumming. Might even be a few Zumba moves in there....ya never know.

June 1: A year ago, Jim's healing from cardiac arrest and stroke was coming along nicely, yet I still didn't trust him to be alone for long, and he had a specific range of movement about town that was still limited to a few blocks from home. It's a whole different story now, and we're both settling into a remade life. I am a blessed woman. 2 years ago, On June 1, we left our home of 20 years for an adventure of a lifetime. I sent out notes from the road, and have compiled those notes and a bit more into an E-book that will be launched on June 1 as Notes From the Road of Life. Look for it!

Also June 1: I'll teach a Modern Shaman class on beautiful Bowen Island, BC, CA, as well as have-aura paints-will-travel to offer Aura portrait sessions. Well worth the short ferry ride!

And June 23: A brand new class in my home town: Journey through the Aura is an experiential workshop: you;ll feel, see, hear, and sense your way through the human aura as well as eh aura of places in Nature.

More in store, including expanding my Zumba classes, but I think I better get this out now. love and blessings, Elke
